*2022/2023 ACADEMIC SESSION OPENING MEETING*

The management of ummah college conducts its first General Meeting for the 2022/2023 academic session today 10th October, 2022. The meeting kicked of around 11:30am with prayers by volunteers from both faith then opening remark from the provost. The meeting was chaired by the provost, along with the registrar taking minutes of the meeting.
Important issues were digested and conclusions were officially made on the respective agendas of the meeting. Issues like, outcome of the just concluded semester exams, commencement of lectures, creation of "Quality Assurance Unit" (Creationg of the office of Deputy Provost), etc were discucussed. Members of staff contributed with their respective opinions and recommendations and the management vows to make effective and necessary amendments as we set foot into a fresh academic session.
However, *the meeting ended with Official Farewell message from the provost as he is retiring from office and someone is taking over.*
Members of staff express their inevitable displeasure of the news, but hope and pray for best for both the college and the out going provost. The provost is set to officially leave by 1st November, 2022 and the New Provost will take over.
The meeting ended with a closing remark from the provost and wooed of prayers by volunteers from both faiths.
